About ailog

ailog is a small, independent publication about the practical side of AI: what it costs, how to wire it into real workflows, and the servers and networks that keep those workflows running.

Who writes it

ailog is run by a small software team based in Seoul, South Korea. Our day job is building websites, payment integrations and automation pipelines for small businesses, and running the self-hosted infrastructure behind them — a production server, a backup server, a NAS and a home-office network. Most articles here started as internal notes from that work.

What makes it different

• Numbers you can check. Prices come from official pages that we link to and re-verify automatically every time the site is built. Costs we report from our own projects come from our own billing and logs.
• Only things we actually did. When we describe building or running something, we built or ran it. We do not publish "I tested 20 tools" pieces about tests that never happened.
• Sanitized, not invented. We remove IP addresses, credentials and client names from real configurations, but we don't make up the parts in between.

How the site is funded

ailog is supported by display advertising through Google AdSense. Advertisers have no say over what we write, and we do not accept paid posts. See our editorial policy for how articles are produced, including how we use AI tools.
